Bio

Matt Forand (Guitar, vocals)

Guitarist (12&6 strings, lap steel, mandolin) composer and band leader of the M& SBtrio. First prize at the 2006 Valcourt Music fest , ‘Rock covers’ category. Matt has shared the stage with Jacques Harisson , Carl Tremblay, Jacques ‘Coco’ Roy. Solo acoustic project (folk blues + instrumental), Matt is also a sheep shearer.
Influences: Blues, Rock, jazz, Country rock, folk, World.

Sylvain Larose (Bass)

With more than 20 years of experience, he has shared the stage and/or studio with Jean-Francois Breault, Nicolas Ciccone, Randy Mac, Chapeau Melon and many tribute bands. Experienced in many styles of music including Blues, funk, Jazz,r&b, Rock, Folk Rock, Sylvain is renowned for his taste, professionalism and steady playing.

David Devine (Drums and percussions)

With more than 35 year of experience, a strong musician and showman, David has demonstrared his versatility in easily adapting to all styles of music. He played live or in the studio with many famous artists including Nanette Workman, Jonas, Arianne Moffat, Carl Tremblay, Jim Zeller, Miles Goodwin of April Wine, Sass Jordan, Jimmy James, Dawn Tyler Watson, Kim Richardson, Jean Millaire, Angel Forest, Slim Williams, John McGale , Jeff Fisher, Stephane Montenaro , and Michel Donato ,Bob Walsh. David is also a computer tech.

Sylvain Larose (Bass)

Bassiste de plus de 20 ans experience, il a partage la scene et/ou le studio avec entre autres Jean-Francois Breault, Nicola Ciconne, Randy Mac, Chapeau melon et plusieurs groupes hommages. Tres a l’aise dans a peu pres tout les styles, bassiste de session reconnu pour son gout et son jeu d’une grande precision. Influences: Blues , Funk, Jazz, r&b , Rock, Folk Rock.

David Devine (Batterie et percussions)

Batteur de plus de 35 ans d’expérience, professeur et compositeur. Reconnu pour sa créativité et sa forte technique, David Devine s’est bâti une forte reputation sur la scène du Québec, jouant tant sur scène qu’en studio. David a partage la scene et/ou le studio avec entre autres  Nanette Workman, Jonas, Arianne Moffat, Carl Tremblay, Jim Zeller, Miles Goodwin , Sass Jordan, Jean Marc Parent, Jimmy James, Dawn Tyler Watson, Kim Richardson, Jean Millaire , Angel Forest, Slim Williams, John McGale , Jeff Fisher, Stephane Montenaro , Michel Donato ,Bob Walsh.Il possède également une formation de technicien pour les ordinateurs. Influences : jazz, hard rock, soft rock, blues, funk, latin et classique.
